Hi everyone, Its been a busy couple of months since we last posted.
This is the stone clean and re-point of the Mc Donald’s in Dundee city centre. Its a mighty difference from what it had been like before.
This was a set of concrete lintels that the steel had rotted and started to split and make very dangerous.
Just a small tidy up job the joiner had made a bit of a mess of the stone work to fit the new door so the customer asked to to tidy up the door surround and we did a couple of bits re-pointing.
A truck had hit the top of this pillar, We dismantled the top 3 stones and rebuilt putting it back to the way it was.
One of our customers asked us to take down a dry stone wall that was starting to look a bit worse for wear and we took it down and rebuilt with a small retaining wall.
Just a quick snap of a door way that we built up.
The old stone steps on this job had been long over due for a upgrade so we ripped them out replaced with new steps and a stone slab plinth. The customer added the chips and it finishes it off
A old wall needing a bit of TLC cut out and re-pointed
I don’t have any before photos of this one we just cracked on with it.
This isn’t something we would usually do but a friend asked if we could do it and i think its smartend out the area perfectly.Last but not least a development we had been working on on the Blackness road Has had a Award as well as being short listed for another this year!
