Stone Indenting & Lithomex Restoration

When stonework begins to fail, timely and accurate repair is key. At Rocked Out Stone, we specialise in stone indenting and Lithomex restoration, offering sensitive and lasting solutions for weathered, cracked or damaged masonry.

What Is Stone Indenting?

Stone indenting is the process of replacing damaged stone blocks with carefully selected and shaped new stone. We match the original material, texture and tooling to ensure repairs blend naturally with surrounding masonry. It’s a traditional technique essential to the conservation of older buildings.

Lithomex Restoration

For surface-level repair, we use Lithomex, a specialist lime-based repair mortar that can be colour-matched and tooled to replicate original stonework. Lithomex is breathable and sympathetic to historic structures, making it ideal for heritage properties.
